    I did, too. Just wasn't the same for us after that injury in St. Louis, however. Although he did win a batting title after that.

    The right outcome is more important here. How many times have we gotten screwed by bad umping? Are you saying that should just continue? I really don't see what the problem is with getting the right call. Why not let the better team win that day, instead of maybe losing because of a blown call? I say give each team 2 challenges per game, and the reviews will only last 90 seconds. That could get the right outcome as well as not lengthen the game by any significant amount of time.

    I could forgive Blanco and DeRosa if he signs Drew and Soriano. Although then you'd have to trade for pitching.

    I've never been a fan of creating one hole to fill another, especially when you're creating that hole at a hard-to-fill position like catcher.

    A $4.3m platoon player/utility guy? That's crazy talk. We overpaid for mediocrity again. It's a good thing the payroll is higher. With Jones likely coming back down to earth this year, that could be 3 easy outs in the 7-8-9 spots. Helloooo, struggling offense!

    I like that he can play 6 positions. I'm not thrilled, however, by his .331 career OBP.
