Aren't his rates amongst the worst in MLB? Looks like he's about equal to Wellington Castillo so far. Didn't mean to suggest that he was good. Just that he's not outlandishly bad and there are guys catching in the major leagues who are worse. Right, it's to enough to hope for improvement to somewhere close to average. Hopefully some of the framing skills of Ross, Teagarden, and Montero rubs off on him. let's hope that teagarden isn't on the team long enough for any of his skills to rub off on schwarber. His defense grades out very highly so far this year. Also, that hit off of Chapman gets him a temporary reprieve from complaints for me.
