  1. KU's defense is the most atrocious thing I've ever seen. GT opens the game with a 95 yard running play.
  2. haha, seriously.
  3. well that's certainly a bad article. Excellent critique, sir. What a garbage article. I'm no Texas fan, but this idea that Texas came in and forced a bunch of change on these poor innocent Big 8 schools is a joke. The unequal revenue sharing that teams like aTm and Nebraska have made such a big deal over? They all voted for it. All the power brokers in the Big 8/Big 12 had the opportunity to install equal money distribution. But guess what. Schools like aTm and Nebraska didn't want to share. They knew they would be bringing home the serious loot, and they wanted to keep it for themselves. (KU was also against it. They make a nice chunk off tier 3 hoops rights, and they didn't want to share.) 15 years later, two of these schools are the biggest whiners about the deal THEY pushed for and are leaving the conference. All 12 schools also voted to have a watered down, powerless commissioner. Can't bitch about Beebe (and what changes he's capable of effecting) when he's the monster YOU created. Kevin Weiberg approached the Big 12 about having a dedicated network. The schools all passed. Weiberg quit as Big 12 commish and sold the idea to the Big 10. Once again, all 12 schools shoot themselves in the foot. UT approached aTm about being a partner in the LHN a while back. aTm passed. UT got the nerve to go it alone, and look what happened. They got a ton of money out of it. Now aTm has their panties in a wad over it. Texas is and always has been one vote in the Big 12. They got control because the original Big 8 never nutted up and stood up to them. As a result, the power shifted south. The money shifted south. And the cracked foundation for this dying conference was irreparably laid. Texas carries a lot of blame. But so do all the other schools. lol, did you actually want to talk about the weather or were you just making chit-chat? im confused by what this means

  5. Maybe Tony Mitchell will qualify by then. god i hope so He should have went to Kansas. if you follow KU recruiting right now, you'd realize nobody's going to Kansas anymore.
  6. I'll bet they accept ATM. i laughed.
  7. SEC announces it accepted aTm.
  8. sporcle or jawdle?
  9. NIU's defense nearly gave up 600 yards of offense. lol. neither team could stop anyone. For a KU fan, the game was still encouraging. I love our RBs and OLine, and Webb has been excellent so far this season.
  10. hahahahaha
  11. KU beats Northern Illinois on a (basically) last second TD.
  12. sad state of affairs when the refs are treating a MAC team like they're Texas
  13. yeah, that was downright stupid. these holding calls are killing us. Oh, and I'm really unimpressed by whatever Vic Shealy is doing w the defense. We have more talent and speed than last year, yet I think we're worse.
  14. Somebody's bitter that they just got JANTZED.
  15. Weird Coastal Carolina Coach rant.
  16. He'd missed 3 kicks in his life before today. They were trying to draw ASU offsides it looked like. Which is why you let him kick it without all the histrionics. Kid can make a 48 yarder. Really dumb on Pinkel's part. On the plus side for MU fans, Franklin impressed. Not sure he'll hold up running the ball that much, though.
  17. what a horse [expletive] pass interference call. that ball wasn't close to catchable.
  18. The Big Countdown.
  19. See snood and Mizzou fans, it's not all that bad. We'll be in the Big East or ACC. Mizzou will be in the Big East/SEC/B1G. I suppose it would be an option for our olympic sports, too. I think the Big 12 stays together though, minus atm.
  20. yeah this is everything i've heard. Kansas, KState, Iowa State and Baylor haven't committed to not suing, but Missouri, Texas, Tech and Oklahoma State have said they won't sue, but they aren't giving up their rights. I'm pretty sure OU has agreed to the waiver because, who gives a [expletive], they're going to the Pac-12. KU has said they will not sue, but they will not sign the waiver.

  22. I can’t tell what you’re getting at with this. How do you think that move impacts Notre Dame? And that Big East scenario would be worlds better than the SEC. Keep the traditional rivals, plus the Big East gets strengthened big time with a conference championship game, and by adding the STL/KC markets. The basketball conference would be insane, and the divisions break out perfectly in football and almost perfectly in hoops(Villanova or Georgetown probably moves to the West). Yeah, I'm a bit confused by the point Andy's trying to make, as well. Clarification?
  23. Yeah, but where does The Sporting News have our fans ranked? 11th in the Big 12. Before or after 3 of our schools left? If after, before or after we add New Mexico State, Houston, and Wyoming?
  24. Yeah, but where does The Sporting News have our fans ranked?
  25. Panic in Lawrence? huh?
