About time the refs kicked it into high gear. It's one thing if the team is playing lazy, but I expect more from the zebras.

Ridiculous. You aren't so good you should never be challenged. Two games in a row where we're losing in the second half at home to solid but not spectacular teams shouldn't happen. I'm following on gamecast, so I don't know what's really happening, but we shouldn't have trouble with ISU at home.

When I watched that live I dont remember that shot on the ESPN feed, they only showed the worthless shot from behind the shooter. I would hope the refs had every angle before overturning the call. The Pac-12 claimed the next day the refs made the right call because of a camera angle that was never shown on TV. :roll: was it a camera pointed at a bag of cash in Sean Miller's hand?

Perhaps Purdue is more successful than ISU, but from an outside perspective, they seem like one of the most boring programs in college sports.

I can't buy a team with drew as it's point being great, just can't. Plus two Wears in the rotation. They looked good today, granted they were making shots at a rate they can't possibly keep up. They played well offensively today but they don't play D, don't board and they always tire out at the end of games. Is UCLA's S&C coach any good? I know you play a lot of young guys who haven't fully developed physically, but the team as a whole didn't look as fit as you'd hope. MUs guys looked in better shape.

I can't buy a team with drew as it's point being great, just can't. I can't buy a team that plays defense like that as being great. They have some talent though. Did Parker play at all for UCLA? I had the volume down.

Ghana-esque flop. Love Haith begging for a flagrant. I think UCLA should've used a couple of those fouls to try and make an aggressive steal as opposed to pure hacks, though. Maybe they could've turned MU over. Entertaining game, though.

credit where credit is due, Phil Pressey is fun to watch when he has the ball, especially against a terrible defensive team like UCLA.

I missed this earlier. You guys are going to be a final four team again, IMO. No one has a Ben McLemore. You look amazing now with Perry Ellis looking lost. Wait until he figures it out. Dammit why can't you bastards ever have a down year? Bill Self is ridiculous. From a far distance, I was kinda skeptical of Bill Self outside of his recruiting prowess, but it's pretty obvious that he's come into his own as a HOF type of coach that is entering his prime. Big statement, yes, but it's hard to argue with the results- 8 or 9 consecutive conference titles and 2 final fours? Not bad. I don't think it's a stretch at this point. He's at 450 some wins now. He's still really young. The rest of the Big 12 isn't all that strong. He gets about 30 wins a year. I can see him getting to 800 wins pretty easily. He turned 50 today. He should be able to get to 800 wins fairly easily unless he retires early or goes to the NBA.

KU is improving by leaps and bounds. A little thin down low after Withey, but otherwise I like this team.

It ranks a gentleman's sixth in Sagarin's ratings. The most interesting thing that will happen is if Self wins Coach of the Year over Groce. Lol. That is a pretty random comment.

I know I'm a negative bitch about KU, but if you read this thread, you'd assume UI had lost 3-4 games this year. They look pretty good this year.
