  1. 18/35 on FT. That's good, right guys?
  2. geez, i leave the gamecast with us up by 10, now it's a two point game. wtf
  3. who's the team on the left? can't decipher the scribblings.
  4. yikes, Northern Illinois had 4 points at halftime. 1-31 and 0-17 from three-point land for the first half. And they were only down by 14.
  5. Haha, that's crazy. But it looks like I was wrong about UCLA. They still don't really play d, but I wouldn't want to run into them in the tourney.
  6. That's below even the Horizon.
  7. Lol, Norm Stewart, Missouri's coach from 1967-'99, is being honored as an SEC legend at the SEC tourney this year. He never coached in the SEC. And I believe he was vocally against MU leaving the Big 12. Other than that, makes perfect sense.
  8. After tonight's win, KU is 23-2 all-time in KSU's current home arena.
  9. Who besides Bowers might miss their next game?
  10. Faith in Haith?
  11. It's going to be a tough game, especially with how lackluster our O has been. I've been impressed by MacGruder from what I've seen. I am baffled as to how Weber has been successful this year. Is his problem simply recruiting a balanced roster?
  12. Man we're getting hammered.
  13. It still seems really weird that you'd mention it along with your REAL dead relatives. This is what they quoted him as saying after Dec. 6th: Regardless of whether the GF thing was a hoax, that's a pretty bold stance for Teo to take towards cancer.
  14. That makes me feel a bit better about KU's win @OSU. UI hammering them combined with our uninspired 3 game stretch has had me concerned.
  15. Man, McLemore can't buy a bucket today. #JustMentioningThatToPissOffAbuck
  16. I dunno. He plays in the NBA. And he's a center. All signs point to him being a real NBA center. Ok, I'll bring this back up in a year. If Aldrich is so crappy, why did Houston trade for him? And why did they agree to take on Harden and his massive salary just to get him? That one wasn't as funny. My alt was: "at the end of the day, at least DJ Byrd doesn't think he's soft." Should I have gone with that?

  18. Bet you Cole Aldrich could block his shot without fouling. There. Best of both worlds.

  20. How come in the NBA Cole Aldrich averages a foul every 3 minutes when he showed the skill to never foul in college? Probably because he's playing against all NBA players instead of a few NBA players with a bunch of scrubs mixed in. And because he got away with murder in college? I'm sure he did. But worse/slower players foul better/quicker players regularly. Aldrich is now one of those worse/slower players, whereas he was not in college. No, a 7' center good enough to get in the NBA dominated his smaller, less talented opposition because the fix was in. That's the only explanation. Without the refs, Nebraska's rotation of 6'7", 3 star centers would have dominated him.

I'm sure he got away with some fouls. I'm sure the fact he was taller and better than his opponents (and surrounded by superior teammates) played a bigger role, though.

  23. almost blew it by taking so long. Hopefully the Big 12 will have words with them. they called one (1) foul against withey. they'll never work in this league again. To be fair, the stat sheet says you shot 38 threes. Doesn't sound like you were living in the paint. Again, didn't see the game though.
