  1. Your so called girlfriend sure makes up some good stories. You cannot be serious that you actually believe this, can you? Watch your words ... Maloney's spies are everywhere! I've bought too many great tickets on the first day to believe such nonsense.
  2. That was 2000. 1999 was absolute hell from June onward.
  3. That's a first. I agree, good for him and honesty.
  4. I like the Caddy! DAMN
  5. I think it was Pierre. I assume he was originally filmed in a Marlins uniform; that was a pretty sorry CGI job.
  6. I agree completely. Go ahead and kill the road alternate too - the blue shirts, with their lack of trim or detail of any kind, are just bush league. What if we had blue alternates, with the block CHICAGO in red, like the road uniforms? I'd be open to modifications. It's ridiculous that the minor leaguers have jerseys nicer than the Cubs' alternates.
  7. I'd rather drive an EVO, STI, or an R32 than a SRT-4. And you'd likely be eating the Neon's dust. 2006 EVO - 286 HP with AWD 2006 STI - 300 HP with AWD 2004 R32 - 237 HP with AWD 2005 SRT-4 - 230 HP with FWD How? Evo - 0-60 mph: 5.3 sec, $28,987 STI - 0-60 mph: 4.9 sec, $30,995 R32 - 0-60 mph: 5.9 sec, $29,675 SRT-4 - 0-60 mph: 5.3 sec, $20,995 Most EVO VIII runs I've seen have put them at mid 4's on 0-60. Evo VIII STi SRT-4 Interesting. The rice rockets really aren't my cup of tea; I was relying on data from the first site I found for the respective models. The data does prove that the SRT-4 was a terrific performance value.

  10. I'll try to play the video at work, for whatever reason I can't view it from here. That's awesome. I'd rather drive an EVO, STI, or an R32 than a SRT-4. And you'd likely be eating the Neon's dust.
  11. I must admit that I'm just a casual Cowboys fan with no real ties to the team other than my moniker, so it's not that big a leap. It was tough to get past all my Cubs-related hate for the city of Pittsburgh, though.
  12. Grace is awesome, and so is Todd Walker.
  13. My unbridled hatred for all things Pittsburgh has morphed into a resentful respect for the Steelers. Bettis will not be denied.
  14. The northern reaches of a Charlotte team's territory, per your definition, would be populated mostly by hills, trees and hoops-loving poor people.
  15. The truth hurts. Why do people feel the need to defend this guy?
  16. We really need a replacement for Marla. My pick is a bitter moment - on the last day of the 1995 season, Harry wept in the booth as he and Steve completed the broadcast by looking back on the year, which was rotten from Memorial Day through Labor Day but provided enough greatness in the beginning and at the end to leave everyone depressed as hell once it became clear that things wouldn't work out for us. It was one of many moments in which Harry proved that his love for the team was as genuine as that of the fans.
  17. I had to laugh when I saw those comparisons. I guess we'll start using Hector as a benchmark for catching excellence, too. Without doubt. See above.
  18. It's awesome.
  19. The smell of Royal Rumble is in the air.
  20. HELL YEAH The boys are back in the studio ... I need to re-up, it'll be time to buy tickets before we know it.
  21. Stuff like this is why the whole tournament is a sham. How can anyone take it seriously?

  23. Al Yellon says the CF restaurant may not wind up as originally envisioned.
