  1. Yeah that has heartbreak written all over it. I really really don't want to have to go in there needing to clinch, either have it done or be out of it. I plan to be at all three of those games. I fully expect the Reds to scar me for life.
  2. GLORIOUS
  3. I'm liking the JK trade more and more.
  4. FLOYD!!!!!!FLOYD!!!!!!FLOYD!!!!!!FLOYD!!!!!!
  5. kinda like what Zambrano does huh? Zambrano? We're making him look like Walter f'ng Johnson. Nice one, ARam.
  6. Pignatiello ? Likely defaults to the youngest guy out there. I saw Gallagher with it earlier this year.
  7. The rookie in the pen has to pack it.
  8. NICE JOB GUYS Not like we need this one or anything ...
  9. Hey, if they just add another 3,000 seats your in! BTW...Where's the next addition come from? I'm half way surprised they haven't attempted to buy the buildings accross the street and make the rooftops some sort of premium "Wrigley" seats (like the seats on top the monster in Fenway)... I signed up at the end of '04. Lots of people apparently dumped their tickets/or refused to buy as their number came up in the interim as the Dusty era beat the fanbase's spirits into a pulp, allowing me to move up. I've often thought that the rooftops could easily be added to the official Wrigley capacity, but I imagine that the Cubs are reluctant to assume the liability issues that would come with making them fully 'vested' seating sections. Another issue is that if they were part of the general ticket allocation, the gate receipts would have to be split with the visiting teams; as it is, the rooftop payments stay in the Cubs' coffers.
  10. I'm at 2793.
  11. This is just the kind of useless posting that I can support. Wholeheartedly.
  12. If we can't win, I hope the Cards can somehow take it. They're smug bastards, but they have a right to be — the Brewers have no claim to anything, and they're unbearable. I hate every last one of them.
  13. Plenty of time for the Brewers to melt down. Having said that, Davis is a hack. Watch him shut us out this weekend.
  14. Any garden variety secretary could have come up with a better approach vs. a closer asked to do 6. Ridiculous.
  15. Interesting. How long was the delay? 1:27
