  1. It is technically a sellout. They tarp off the seats above the rings, as they're all obstructed views. Of course, people pay big money to sit behind much more severe obstructions in Chicago and Boston.
  2. Molina is one fat [expletive].
  3. The next two days are going to be [expletive] awesome.
  4. Dusty, Neifi. That is all.
  5. Obviously born last week.
  6. http://www.chicagobreakingsports.com/2010/10/big-z-calls-for-cubs-to-sign-adam-dunn.html Smart kid.
  7. Ramirez' 2010 will wind up much better than I imagined.
  8. Fantastic finish in SF. I can smell the three way tie from here.
  9. They didn't discuss the 2003 postseason? Only the ugly parts.
  10. Seems to me that there is a certain documentary film on this game of Base Ball in which Mr. Soriano appears to be quite the "clutch" hitter.
  11. Dusty Baker threw an AAA lineup tonight against Nelson Figueroa. The traditional day off made sense in the days before playoff seeding, but he can't afford to just give away games like he did tonight with a trip to Philly looming. Maybe you keep creaky guys like Rolen out, but all eight starters?

  13. Thanks for the heads-up.
  14. The "Restoring Honor" rally has been done with for days now. Where the [expletive] have you been?
  15. Maybe this will be the tipping point for the elimination of maple bats.
  16. LaRue is done. http://www.stltoday.com/sports/baseball/professional/article_324aa4d7-ff34-5706-b12a-b1a023d58d00.html
  17. All bow before Q.
  18. Yep. Nice finish for Coleman if it is indeed his last start of the season.
  19. Ricketts was there in the 1980s, so surely he recognizes the value of a good ballgirl. Get it done Tombo.
  20. I'm not necessarily talking about tuning out on a lost Cubs season. If you like baseball at all, how can you not enjoy the September races and subsequent postseason?
  21. I agree 100%. I'll never understand people who tune out in September just because their team is eliminated.
