The traditional day off made sense in the days before playoff seeding, but he can't afford to just give away games like he did tonight with a trip to Philly looming.     I'm not necessarily talking about tuning out on a lost Cubs season. If you like baseball at all, how can you not enjoy the September races and subsequent postseason?

    I agree 100%. I'll never understand people who tune out in September just because their team is eliminated.
