If Hendry has any sense, he'll can the idiot before sunup. If not, we'll have to suffer through 495 more days of utter torture.

    I thought the FIRE DUSTY deal was taking flight amongst the rank and file awhile back, but was wrong. Hopefully people will be driven past the point of acceptance this time around the dump.

    For all of Atlanta's success, they still haven't mastered the art of marketing. If they had any kind of PR talent they could probably draw close to 4 million a year - then they'd be nearly as dangerous as the Yanks. The great Braves tradition hasn't bred the kind of fan numbers one would expect. They have a nice following around the country, but the south just seems bored with 'em.

    Aside from a couple of ill-advised one-and-done shots to Miami, I've never really had an all-out "donkey balls" kind of trip like our brethren are experiencing. Buying dinner for Ryno in Buckhead might be the only saving grace ...

    The Trib is spending alot of money for this crap, and I doubt they are too happy. I'll go out on a limb and say that if the Cubs win less than 2 of the remaining games before the ASB, Dusty gets the axe.
