    Fair enough, it's tough to decipher listening on the radio, but I thought it was a fair assumption that they were booing Corey. Corey hasn't been helped by the umps at all recently. True, and it's likely that Corey isn't making much of a distinction either. The dude looked like he was ready to break down in the dugout yesterday.

    What man is going to want to drink Michelob Ultra? All the wuss guys in those commercials get beat by chicks in various athletic competitions.

    I haven't been to Wrigley since April, but in many of the recent games - especially the ones in which Corey has excelled for brief flashes - it's seemed that alot of the booing was directed at the ump. Honest to God, it seemed that the post-catch boos against Milwaukee the other night were mainly for the umpire, not Corey, who's had plenty of rotten calls of late.

    Really? I sure don't. After the issues last season, Guillen was exactly what we didn't need. He is a malcontent. Being in So Cal, I was able to hear and see it. There is a reason why he has played on 4 teams in 3 years. He produces, and he plays with fire. I loved it when he stuck it to Mikey and the Angels last month with that shot and cussed all the way around the bases. Would you feel the same way if that Was Sosa doing that to us in Wrigley? He ain't got the balls. But yeah, I would.

    Prime date bleachers cost $38 apiece, so I figure you did very well. How much do they sell them aronud the streets of Wrigley? It's hard to say, been a while since I've bought on the street.

    It's fireworks night, and there are barely 15,000 in the stands on a nice holiday weekend evening. The Reds aren't selling anything at this point - I think they'll be dealing shortly. My favorite.

    Hairston sure deserved it. I swear, he must be the dumbest player to come from a successful baseball family. That guy has made WAY too many dumb plays.... Moises Alou? Considering his '04 performance on the basepaths it's hard to disagree. But my point is: Hairston is stupid. Really stupid. So stupid I can see why he's not starting. Cuz he makes a lot of stupid plays. I expected him to be smarter, since he's from the baseball Hairstons. What did he do? I didn't get to see the game because WGN is stupid and doesn't show alot of games anymore-as well as the fact my wife gave me the "are you [expletive]" look when I mentioned spending 200 bucks on MLB EI's. Please fill me in? For God's sake, order the damn package and make her like it. I can't fathom letting my wife treat me like some three year old ...
