    I don't put any stock in the horsefeathers. But don't you think if the Cubs know he's defensively challenged other teams will know it too? It seems it would depress his value as a trade opportunity. Also and for horsefeathers sake, let's give the guy a minute to improve.

    I don't have specifics, but I want Jed to be bold and put together the best team he can within the budget constraints. In many respects, they are stuck in the mud with the contracts of the position players. They need to get creative. I'm not talking about Michael Busch creative either.

    I think it is a mistake to look at the Hail Mary and say, well it was a fluke they lost. They didn't play well on offense for most of the game.

    You look at the schedule, and 7-10 is likely the best outcome. The offense played so poorly against Washington for most of the game. By now they should have identified what they do well and what they don't.
