  1. I saw this online: The Bears are 101-24-2 when they have no turnovers on offense and get a takeaway on defense. Three of those losses have come in the last three weeks.
  2. Bright side guys, Williams had a decent game and it was clear that the coaching is deficient. They need to start over next year with a new staff. The only issue is that the same guy who picked this one will be picking the next one.
  3. Listening on XM. In the game baby
  4. Pittsburgh running a completely competent offense with Wilson and Fields.
  5. I have no early game on Fox so I will be following along in this thread
  6. They’ll get another guy like Jed and hope he’s better. They’ll are not getting a Dombrowski type, ever.
  7. I get what everyone is saying but he’s done exactly nothing to support being in the top 10 other than getting drafted high.
  8. The entire time he's pitched including college he has walked 5.5 (6) per 9 innings. He's got a WHIP of 1.5. That's not good.
  9. Way too high on this guy. He can't throw strikes.
  10. There have always been bubbles. 20 years ago your grammy forwarded you emails from her church sister that the darkies were taking over the neighborhood over on East Main Street. The only difference is that three TV networks tried to do the right thing. Now there are 10 networks with 5 trying to do the right thing and getting called biased by the worst people you know.
  11. It's like the team hit a bick wall, but really it's frequency. Life is about frequency. If you drive impaired once or twice chances are you won't face a negative consequence. But if you do it a lot, you likely will. This outcome is about all the small but cumulative effects of bad decision makers making decisions.
  12. I love how you use the word whine. It's the opposite of a whine. It's a lament.
  13. I've been on that one for more than half a season.
  14. These stories come out a lot when the ship is foundering. It's not hard to think there is a grain of truth to every story. How much and how bad we don't know. But this is also a coaching problem if Caleb isn't "putting in the work".
  15. There is no reason to speculate. We have to see how it plays out. Is there any evidence from the past that says he prefers one destination over another? Anywhere on the West Coast and most major cities have a large Japanese population. The Cubs are not exactly the market setters in keeping pitchers healthy either.
  16. Chicago sports is a dumpster fire for a plethora of reasons that are almost unique to each team.
  17. So last year coaches disappeared and this year they are fired. It's indicative of a dysfunctional organization.
  18. I want to say that it is fan-fukin-tastic when the third largest revenue team that you root for preemptively rules out the 26 year old best hitter and the two best pitchers in free agency almost before the offseason gets started. Keep filling Wrigley.
  19. Deck chairs being rearranged
