-I don't give it much credence. I think Hendry felt by acquiring Miller that he was getting extra. Myguess is that the Cubs will do what they have said; go with a 4-man rotation and work in a minor league arm when the 5th spot is needed (unless Prior is able to pitch by April 15th). I concur. It is a little early to hit the panic button. Besides, Wood and Miller should be ready by May, Prior too. If Wood and Miller can stay healthy the Cubs will have a formitable rotation. Plus they also have Guzman, Marshall, Hill, and perhaps Ryu who can step in. Unless Hendry knows something we don't (actually he probably know a lot more than us) I don't see the Cubs getting some filler pitcher before they know how things are going to shake out.
