    I don't think it's that crazy that Schwaber has a .950 OPS. I actually think it might be one of the safer predictions.

    I don't want to derail this thread, but yes. Tom Rickets is every bit the horsefeathers his father is. The fact that they have a sibling who is gay only makes them that much worse. Screw JD Martinez and his contract. Good luck Red Sox. The Cubs will have Harper next year.

    Give me the under on the Yanks and Brewers, pronto. I think the Yankees is a tough one, but I’d wager a lot on the under for the Brewers and a lot on the over for the Giants. I don’t think the Dodgers will win 104 either, but the Brewers are a lock.

    The sting pretty much wore off for me when the info about his pre-injured elbow came out. Obviously, it wasn't going to cost anything so it would've been a great add, but meh. I don't know that he's an MLB quality hitter, so the elbow thing makes me happy the Cubs didn't sign him.

    I heard a report on MLB radio from an agent who said he received nearly identical offers from two different teams. Both the offers where substandard.

    If the system allows them to do this, that’s collusion. What we don’t know is if the owners have given hard figures to the GMs or if the GMs have all just decided they’re not worth what they are asking. This inaction appears to be systemic. We won’t know unless there’s a law suit.
