As I've suggested before, they should sell the team for an obscene profit. They could keep the rooftops, neighborhood, and luxury hotel and probably make more money when the new owners actually spend enough to have a winning team. They will never sell, because when times are good and they have the leveraged property paid down/off, they have the luxury tax wall they helped to create to keep profit high. The only thing that will hurt them is if the public turns against them and stops showing up to Wrigley. That is not likely to happen anytime soon.
