    Suzuki has a ridiculous 34% K rate in his last 12 games. He seems to be chasing more because they keep calling strikes out of the zone. The umps are breaking him.

    I’ve been timing this reds pitcher he’s averaging 26 second between pitches. Longest was 48 seconds shortest 22 seconds.

    It's Armed Forces Day this weekend or some crap. MLB finally wised up at some point and realized Memorial Day isn't about troop-humping camo horsefeathers, but they couldn't just quit doing it so they found some other day they could use as an excuse to do it. I might have to get one for the duck blind.

    At Arkansas, you have Jerry Jones, the Walton (Wal-Mart) and the Tyson families as big time boosters to the school and to the athletic department. Everything on the campus has one of those names on it. Again, just because YOU don't know their names does not mean we do not have billionaires in our alumni/booster base. Five San Antonians make Forbes 400 list Quick Google search and I know for a fact that two of these five are Aggies. And I'm not trying to measure any dicks. Just laughing at those who don't think A&M has plenty of money at our disposal. That wasn't the issue. OMC made a ridiculous statement and it's ridiculous. There are many other programs, dozens even or more that *could* spend unlimited sums of money buying players. There are other programs with more money and access to more available money.

    To put a bow on it, it will be very interesting to see what happens to big-time college sports in the next few years. It's about time these kids get paid, but at some point, regulation will have to happen. I think getting the payment system out in the open will be a good thing. I don't necessarily think it will be a good thing for parity. I can see the move to superconferences and perhaps leagues being the most logical outcome.

    I listened to most of the game last night. It sounded like the Arizona pitcher was really mixing speeds well. I loved the 11 pitch walk by Morel. Rivas is going through a rough patch right now. The Cubs in general are not good.
