  1. 5ks in 4.1 innings. No walks
  2. First inning seems to be the bugaboo for Killian.
  3. I Cubs tied it up 3-3. I'm not sure how as I had to step away for stupid work related stuff
  4. bounced back with 2Ks and ground out. Not too bad, all things considered.
  5. I'd rather he walk a hitter or two.
  6. Kilian not walking anyone! Kilian giving up a double followed by a HR.
  7. Davis hitting .196. He's taking more walks and striking out less. He's hit into some bad luck. Hopefully, the BA is a lagging indicator, but he needs to step it up.
  8. Hopefully, Kilian can keep building on his last two starts.
  9. Manny Rodriguez has regressed a bit.
  10. looks like they let my dogs out in the outfield with all the yellow grass spots.
  11. Still pumping 96 at around 80 pitches.
  12. This guy pitching for Toledo looks pretty good too.
  13. Brown is really impressive. Not just the velocity, but the command on his breaking pitches. I can't believe the Cubs got him for Robertson. A steal.
  14. Davis just got nailed on the hand. Trainer looking at it. Sounded bad.
  15. Brown working 95 in the first.
  16. When Ross gets to about .500 over the course of 100 games in one-run games, we can revisit.
  17. People like to assert that close losses are due to bad luck. Maybe there is some portion of the outcome that is due to luck. However, when a phenomenon occurs repeatedly in a system, luck is not the variable of importance because it cannot be controlled. Other controllable variables are important. Ross is the decision maker and more times than not his decisions have negatively affected the outcome. Luck is an empty box one can place blame but it mutes discussion of variables that are amenable to control. The long view is that they are losing winnable games that count.
