  1. He was a top 50 prospect. If he can come back to that level there are other guys to trade.
  2. I had a meeting so I'm delayed watching. Carter Hawkins looks like an intern.
  3. PCA laced a double in the gap
  4. there are about 700 people in the Cubs dugout.
  5. Morel with a dong!!!!!!
  6. lol, Jessee Chaves pitching for the Sox. If anyone has a rubber arm it is him. Amazing. Happer with the first hits of the year.
  7. PCA is so smooth.
  8. One thing Wicks does well and I think is under talked about is hiding the ball really well.
  9. first K of the year
  10. Yea baby we are underway for 2024
  11. However much the Bears had to spend this offseason, you can add $30 M more. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-salary-cap-skyrockets-to-255-4-million-for-2024-season-up-record-30-6m-from-2023/
  12. I would call the Cubs ticket office and see if they can help you, if they have a phone number published.
  13. Love that lineup. I can't wait to listen. I imagine it will be Mick Gillespie who does the Smokies games. He's been doing the ST PBP for a few years now. Sometimes Coomer shows up too. It's a weird set up. Pat hasn't done ST in a few years. For a while Len and Mick would tag team. I miss Len.
  14. If left off the protected list in the first round I could see a team taking Canario or Mervis right away. Some might say, the Cubs dodged a bullet, lol.
  15. The South Bend Cubs cost a lot too. But the Montgomery Biscuits sell seats for as low as $6.
  16. They aren’t afraid, Tommy Boy is not going to go over an imaginary line he pushed to create. I know they did it before. The past is the past.
  17. Could anyone imagine your father buying a baseball franchise for you and your siblings to play with?
  18. Big leaguers can handle velocity. That sort of the first hurdle to making it. They have a hard time with movement and location. Obviously, you can be throwing 82 MPH fastballs down the middle, but command is king.
  19. The top 7-8 are remarkably consistent across people. I can't rate Wiggins in the top 20 based on pedigree alone. He hasn't pitched yet.
  20. When I was a little kid the Cubs had a catcher for a while named Barry Foote who fit that description.
  21. I'm thinking of Matthew Stafford in Detroit. I don't think the Bears are that inept.
  22. holy horsefeathers. Lawn tickets for the March 14th game against Oakland(!!!!!!) are $20. Great seats are $100. It looks like it's sold out for the most part.
  23. For the Cubs it's a big business. Last year their average crowd size was 13K and the place only holds 15K. And they aren't paying salaries. It's not that way for every team though. When we lived in Florida, I used to watch the Orioles play for $10 in Fort Lauderdale. That was 20 years ago though.

  25. Ballesteros is one I want to see pictures of in ST. If he can drop 20 pounds, look out
