  1. It’s fine. Opening night jitters ground ball pitcher. It’s one game. Madrigal may be out the first time he hits one in the gap trying to stretch a single.
  2. They have too many retreads on the team.
  3. thank you! and welcome back from hibernation.
  4. Which ever way they go there is likely going to be a law suit, so it may be longer than 2030.
  5. Hell yea. The Rangers are still hung over from the WS, the Cubs will sweep. Book it!
  6. Let's get one up so we can talk about it. I have a lot of work I don't want to do.
  7. I think you have to put HR in the weakness column, with SP and the lineup.
  8. I read that the extension is very creative and financially flexible.
  9. Keith Law also has them winning the division.
  10. if Odunze is there at 9 they have to take him. It makes too much sense. Whatever else they do in the draft will be icing.
  11. It's everything, his sing-song delivery. His name dropping. His effusive praise for a guy who is not even in the top 50 Cubs prospects. I can't stand it.
  12. This dude pitching for the Cubs looks like Jimmy Fallon with a fake mustache (Scalzo).
  13. I am feverishly engaging in magical thinking that they are letting Suttcliffe do ST games and will not let him near a microphone during the regular season.
  14. The Cubs look completely disinterested in this game.
  15. I like that someone called Madrigal slick fielding.
  16. I’m not sure what the Cubs are playing the Cardinals in ST? Anyone Want to lay the info on me
  17. Brown and Horton are part of the starting rotation by or after the ASB. Shaw and Cassissie are both starting by or after the ASB. The Cubs make a deep run in the playoffs.
  18. I said this before, but it bears repeating. To be good they will have to limit HR. To the extent that they can do that, they will be fine.
  19. Hendricks 1st-two rocket base hits, pop fly, K, pop fly. Such a Hendricks inning.
  20. Brown looked spectacular.
  21. Brown has simplified his wind up and looks in a lot better control of his body.
  22. I think it was this way from the time he signed with the Cubs. They gave him a spot to get some work in and audition for other teams. It happens every year.
