  1. if so, let's hope that soto and fukudome have nothing else in common with walton and smith.
  2. boy arizona is really not a good baseball team. four pitch walk to manny parra, LAWL
  3. if it's memorable things about oklahoma, how about the oklahoma manure smells?
  4. yes but he's also slow as hell and unlikely to have a standard LD%-BABIP correlation.
  5. sometimes i have felt that way after sex too.
  6. i still don't understand why he gets any pitches on the outer half of the plate.
  7. Seriously? Watch the replay...he served up one of the meatiest meatballs that ever meated. it's probably more about "good pitcher giving up home run to not good hitter"
  8. that's why pedro martinez isn't that good any more, it's not like he has just magically lost his stuff. there's gotta be something mentally that isn't clicking with him.
  9. tim lincecum is really, really good. fortunately the cubs' offense is really good too, while gallagher is average and the giants' offense is bad. gallagher will need a good outing here.
  10. so wait, they are keeping either eric stults or chan ho park in the rotation, but shipping out kershaw? what a terribly-run organization.
  11. i really don't get it, but the crow sure is tasty
  12. so does everyone still hate fontenot and want him off the team, or has he bought himself a few days' reprieve?
  13. nice to see that troy glaus has halted his career's declining production and health by getting traded to the cards.
  14. too bad it wasn't 15-1; i wonder if he would've stopped at first.
  15. i think the ball "boy" is afraid of the ball
  16. not a surprising result with murton at the plate
  17. edmonds looked like he was trying not to crap him pants. c'mon murt
  18. edmonds never seems to get shafted on called strikes like geo did. i guess that's one of the advantages to being a crafty vet.
  19. I admit, I'm often not exactly levelheaded when it comes to umpires. However, it seems like this year they have been particularly bad at the expense of the cubs. Maybe the second half they'll be equally bad for the other team. i think they just suck in general. one of the pitches to soto was called a ball and it was basically in the same place as strike 3. nice consistency, a-hole.
  20. i shot 91 yesterday. it's always fun wailing a drive 275 right down the middle, then yanking a 90 yard pitching wedge into a tree that's 20 yards right of the hole. then the next hole, i slice my drive into the adjacent fairway and then hit a great 5 wood to set up a par save. i wish i played more; i do a lot of things well but i just hit too many clunkers.
  21. yeah, it's kind of depressing watching him suck this badly.
