after last night's 9th inning, the cubs are probably going to get the short end of the stick when it comes to the strike zone today.

gorzo was a joke today... after the home run to hardy he basically just quit. by the time he got pulled he was pretty much looking over at the dugout, pleading to come out of the game.

Because Carlos gave up a 3 run HR. Duh. oh yeah that's right. i'm glad people pointed out what a poor move it was before the home run, rather than waiting around to see what would happen and then bashing him after the negative outcome.

i don't get lou, with a 1 or 2 run lead in late innings he absolutely will not use anyone other than his best guys, but when down a run or two he'll use just about anyone.

i was okay with it just because he squared around late and got a good break down the line. it was a sacrifice but he was half trying to get a hit there. but you're right, the out made the cubs' chance of winning go down from 38% to 34.5%. well that sure was a piss-poor AB by lee.

if i was a fan of another team, i'm pretty sure i would hate fukudome. he's a royal pain in the ass at the plate.

now what if the official scorer thinks that johnson is trying to bunt for a hit there? does it count as an out rather than sacrifice?
