    zeke devoss has been pretty disappointing. you'd think that a guy who played major college ball for 3 years and was drafted pretty high would be hitting better than .244 with an ops barely above .700. easterling has also been pretty lousy, but at least he looks good while not hitting.

    kind of funny that the pitcher with 12 K's in that game has allowed 5 hits, and the pitcher with 3 K's has a no hitter.

    A few more days of production and he'll have two straight months of over .900 ops. Tough to just call it a hot streak at this point. Doubters! :) you mean cumulatively? his OPS in may was .884 (.284/.333/.550/.884)

    not sure what mcneill has signed for, but it we assume that it was slot money, then i would think that a little over $500k (or nearly $700k when you include the 0-5% overage) above slot should be enough to get deals done with almora and underwood.

    plus his option for next year is $13m ($1m buyout). he'd really have to show you something in the second half to be kept on for that kind of money. more than likely, you'd just be trading for a veteran who's just going to block someone (granted, the somebodies he's blocking are all pretty lousy, but still) and then end up buying him out after this year to make him a free agent.

    i started laughing about a minute in when cuban talks about how they never use facts, bayless gets his panties in a bunch and says "that's all i use on this show," cuban talks about "excruciating pressure, undeniable this, it's just all generalities," and the bayless says "there's never been a star under more pressure going into a finals than lebron james was under" which completely makes cuban's point for him.
