NSBB is being slow

Earlier today it was absoloutley crawling, and then just aobut half an hour ago it quit working. I and two other posters went over to Emergency NSBB w/ the same problem. It seems to be back to normal now, however.

So far what I've noticed is that posts are getting an Error:500 Internal Server Error message, but they are going through.

 

Edits don't seem to work though.

I can post, edit and delete posts, but the site continues to load and load. Merely hitting stop, going back and refreshing the page reveals that the changes are being made.

Does anyone have info on what is causing the problems?
