LOL, he's talking about the Cubs season being trashed because DLee is hurt. Since the 2006 Cubs won't be winning the Central obviously, some other team will.

 

I don't buy it. It's too early to panic. This team might win inspite of it's less than spectacular lineup. Anyway, we still need to find out if Lee will be out an extended time.

That's not what casual fans are saying now, it's what Jim Hendry is saying.

 

Strange that so many here knew this team would not be good, but Jim "can't put his finger on" what went wrong this year. The fact that he can't see the problem or won't acknowledge the problem means we can write the Cubs off in 07, too.
