Hurry up and end it fast so that we can be distracted by the hot stove, and be angry about the Cubs bringing back Burnitz and Perez.

I'm gonna go way out on a limb here and bet you a cyber nickel that neither one of those two will be on our roster in '06.

I'll take that bet, but be careful using the newfangled word "cyber". Gary Hughes will show up at your house with a torch and a mob with pitchforks.

Man, if you guys don't back off on these Gary Hughes references, I'm gonna turn paranoid !!

It took till Game 4 but we finally got the low-scoring, pitching-dominated series that everyone talked about.

The astros just aren't getting it done. plain and simple.

Yeah, but the Astros offense has been "not getting it done" all year long......

I create the inning recap as it happens in a separate file, and when the inning is over, I simply cut and paste. The "code" you see is a function of the message board software that allows formating of the text. It automatically uses the non scalable courier font and doesn't delete double spacing, thus allowing me to make columnar data line up.

Juan Marichal looks really good for his age.

That's what this game has brought us to. Talking about how good old Latin pitchers look...Someone hit one about 800 feet, please.
