The oddest named Cub team of all time.

Looking through the Cubs teams and I came across the 1924 team. Now I know a lot of these are just nicknames and not real names but it is how we remember them and how they are written about. Nobody writes about Frank Thomas by saying the Big Hurt did this the Big Hurt did that. But we do say Babe did this Babe did that.

I don't think any other Cub team can come close to the amount of oddball common names like that one, and they only finished in 5th place. Perhaps they were compensating for something.
