Oh and for Exile's last question. I will make a wild guess and say Jim Bullinger. I seem to remember him getting a big hit vs the Cards in his first MLB at-bat.

That was a homer, though, not a triple.

1. This Cubs in his second ML plate apperance fouled a boul off his head and had to be carried off the field. Not a great start but he went on to have a somewhat decent career. Who is this Cub?

2. This secondbasemen rips a ball into the outfield that caroms off the head of the opposing team Centerfielder who despite this gaffe in his rookie season goes onto have a decent career. Who is the Cubs that hit the Centerfielder in the head?

3. This Cub centerfielder was beaned in the noggin on the very first pitch of his major league career. Who is this Cub?

Can't answer the other questions, but here is a new one...

Can anyone name the Cubs executive from the 1984 season who was elected to the Hall Of Fame?

I can't answer any of those since I'm terrible at trivia(my age doesn't help), but here's one that someone should be able to get this one.

This Cub turned an unassisted triple play, but not in a Cub uniform.

Mickey Morandini did it while he was with the Phillies (9/20/92) ......

but.....

Jimmy Cooney did it while he was with the Cubs on 5/30/1927 against the Pirates in Pittsburgh

No One? Well...Since I won't be back here for a while, I'll give the answer. It was a trick question. Jim Finks was the Cubs President in 1984. Of course, the Hall of Fame he was elected to was the Football Hall of Fame.
