By "right to him" I presume you mean that he was able to get there? He should've caught it, but he did cover some ground.

Heres a question. Usually when there are two outs and a runner o base gets caught stealing, the next inning the same batter is on the plate again. What happens if the person at the plate is a pinch hitter and the runner gets caught? Because a new pitcher has to pitch, when the next inning comes up is that pinch hitter up to bat or is it a SOL situation?

who's to say he'd pitch poorly? can't just not play him for the rest of the year to make sure his feelings don't get hurt. and i'd rather see him out there today than have him be asked to throw three innings after sitting for a month.
