I wondering if the Cubs could trade for Ryan Freel??

The Reds do have a lot of OF and I am not sure if he is one of the players they want to keep.

 

leadoff hitter solved though if the Cubs could get him.

He's too cheap for CIN to consider it. They're more likely to trade one of their expensive OFs and replace him with Freel in the lineup.

 

If CIN is dumb enough to do it, though, I would hope JH would be one of the first in line to see what they're asking for.

His injury history would make Kerry Wood jealous. Nice player when he's healthy, but with the number of injuries he's had this season, I'd be against it.
