Don't do this to yourselves, guys. By even talking about the possiblity you're setting yourself up for a dissapointment.

 

We're in another classic Cubs tease. They're showing you just enough to get you believing again, and then when they have your heart again, they'll rip it out and stomp on it.

 

In fact, it woudln't shock me if they pulled within 2 and had people coming around again, and then went on a collapse.

 

No, no, no. The Cubs will tie the Astros for the Wild Card and lose in the 15th inning of Game 163.

 

That wouldn't shock me, either.

Better yet, in a key at bat the idoit will bring Mitre to serve up a gopher ball..."Dude, I didn't want to burn out Novoa, Williamson or Dempster."
