I believe this is correct. Top 4 out of each division get in. That would mean the only spot open is a 4 way battle between Quakers, Alamo, Bees, and El Scorcho. I have no idea who has the H2H between all of those, but El Scorcho leads all 4 in points scored.

I believe it's top 3, not 4 (not that it affects my team either way).

I looked back at last years schedule and it seems as if the 2 high seeds played the 4th best in round 1. I wasn't in the playoffs, so I didn't really concern myself w/ it, but I thought it was 4? If you look at last year, the bottom 4 teams in each division played each other throughout the playoffs, the top 4, I assumed where in the playoffs?!?!?

That would suck if I didn't make it in with the runs I've put together in the last 2 months. If this is true.................GO BULBS!!!!!!

The league rules Juan sent me when I joined the league says 3 teams from each division, and the current commissioner's message seems to suggest it's 3.

The top 3 teams in each division get in. the #1 seed gets a bye in the first week of action while the #2 & #3 teams square off. The winner plays the #1 team in the semis and the winner of that goes on to the championship.

top 3 get in.

HBC and buddiga split, and buddiga has a 150+ points advantage on HBC.

so HBC needs a buddiga loss (and a HBC win), OR if buddiga wins (and HBC wins), HBC needs to outscore buddiga by a bundle.

Great! So Buddiga needs to lose and I need to win, or we both win but I have to score 450 pts for the week.

Yea, that 4 versus 1 game is a meaningless game as both teams had byes (there is a consolation tournament).

Thank God for the Bye! Maybe Aram will be back for my first game!

UGH!! 0 QS out of 3 starts tonight. Thank goodness Raw didn't get any out of his 2 starts yesterday either.

Bulbs have a slight lead on Buddiga! Keep it up!!!!

DeJesus has a separated shoulder, so I moved him to my reserve list (my DL spots are already used up), activated Murton from my minor league roster and put him in the OF, and released Patterson to make room for DeJesus on the reserve list. I hated to give up on Patterson when he was my first round draft pick (and I earlier turned down an offer to trade him), but his performance this year hasn't earned him a spot as one of my keepers for next year anyway.

GO BULBS!!!! Looks like the Bulbs will take the lead after the pitching updates tonight. King Felix pitches a great game, but looses to the Yankees. He'll get a QS, though. I don't think either team has been ahead by double digits yet..................too close!!!!

Raw and I are back and forth everyday it seems. I lucked out that Pedro got shelled. I was almost certain he'd at least get a QS, but no such luck for Raw.

Lynx is down 35 points at the turn of the week...............not that it matters, Juan is in the playoffs......................you resting your starters for the playoffs, Juan?

After two weeks of losing by over 100 points despite being in the top half of the league in scoring, my players got frustrated and decided not to even bother trying if they were going to get smoked anyway. Therefore I'm back to my accustomed position from earlier in the year, at the bottom in scoring.

i'm glad i'm not involved in all these nail-biters. that last spot is certainly up in the air. i hope the team that takes it doesn't play the role of 'wild card team that hits the postseason running'.... 8-[

I played that role last year :)

Buddiga and the Bulbs are separated by 1 point this evening. Unfortunately, Arroyo is having a crappy start against the Devil Rays which won't help matters. I may need help from the Dawgs.

Arroyo won't get a QS.........I think Bulbs have will probably we behind by 10 or so after tonight, but will hold a 3-2 advantage in the starts remaining.

I was afraid that Raw would take the lead this evening because of the scheduling. I didn't have many position players playing today, but I may be okay.

If indeed there is a Buddiga / Hand Sanitizers matchups, it looks like Buddiga will be without Griffey Jr. He went down in a heap again at 3rd base and struggled off the field. Fortunately I picked up Jay Payton to save the day.

wow, i didn't see that. pretty huge development if he's out...they had a bunch of games at GABP this week.

looks like i'll outstart you 8-7, but, let's face it...my starters suck. at least your two best guys aren't the ones w/ two starts...and vazquez's second start is in coors.

i think lee & overbay are the keys to my team this week...they need to have big games at GABP. three games for gonzo in coors needs to translate into a hr or two from him. and my bullpen has carried me all year...i need a big week out of them.

Well, my team's done all they can do. It looks as if I'll win my match-up w/ Raw, but Bulbs' doesn't look like he'll pull the win..................

That sucks! I'll probably get to play NSBB, or something in the first round.

I thought I'd be in..................this sucks!
