i do not want to make excuses for perez or macias but i was really thinking on this and why would anyone ever walk either of them? i mean if i'm pitching and i throw 2 balls. i am throwing the biggest beach ball in there and saying hit it, because chances are they will get themselves out anyway.

I wish the Cubs pitchers would make note of this so they don't walk the 8th and 9th hitters in other teams lineups. Not that most pitchers hit as poorly as Perez and Macias, but you get the point.

I'm not ripping on the "being a batkid" part. Hell, if I got to do that at 10 that would have made my life. I was ripping on the "waving like a total dork to the camera for 15 seconds" part.
