I know that he was probably the top divisional prospect for the White Sox prior to the Freddy Garcia trade. He was talked about in the same way we talk about Pie.

BP listed him as the #1 prospect in baseball before last season.

#33 overall in 2005 with the Mariners

#25 overall in 2004 with the White Sox

Cull some Seattle Mariners sites. The guy can really hustle in CF and on the basepaths. One eager baseball player, who, the last time I tuned into a Mariners game (granted that's been a while) was learning to take care of business with the bat also.

 

I don't think Seattle will part with him. There's a better shot with Randy Winn, IMO.

:oops: Told you it's been a while since I checked out the Mariners! And I was busy moving at the trading deadline, so that explains my being asleep at the wheel, so to speak. :-)

 

Now I have no other excuse except the Cubs stink. I'm so disgusted with this team's performance now that this morning I felt like going to the Cards message board and wishing them the best of luck on their pennant and WS run this year. Might as well have a team represent the Central admirably for a change...
