Per Rotoworld

Mike Bellhorn might be designated for assignment by the Red Sox in the next few weeks.

He can stay in the minors for about 20 more days, and with the play of Tony Graffanino and Alex Cora, Bellhorn may be the odd man out, especially given his recent struggles. ''He meant so much to us with what he did last year, and he means so much to us this year, but his production, he's having a tough time,'' Terry Francona said. ''He's a hard guy to know what to say to. Because even when he's going good there's a lot of swings and misses.'' Aug. 6 - 7:49 am et

About a 0.00001% chance of him becoming a cub again, but wow, what an upgrade over macias...of course macias is hitting 294

As long as Dusty is managing this team, there's no use in acquiring Bellhorn. Dusty would have no clue how to use him and he'd join Murton and Cedeno on the wasted roster spots because Dusty's a moron list.

yeah, but if we keep putting people like them on the team, he will eventually have to use them.
