Lawton to Cubs for Gerut

i saw jody gerut start in rf and looking back he was my favorite cub of all time too

I'm having a hard time deciding on what I want the Cubs to do concerning next year's OF.

 

Burnitz has an option for next year, Patterson, Lawton, and Murton.

 

That is a bland group all the way around, Murton is intriguing b/c of his low salary, Patterson is a huge "?", Burnitz and Lawton are probably avg-below avg. corner OF'ers.

 

I think Jeromy Burnitz has fielded his position quite well this season. In fact, I've yet to see him miss the cut-off man, which has been quite refreshing.

 

I was speaking about offense, his .274 EqA is well below avg. for a corner OF'er.
