Here is the style of jersey that the Jaxx will be wearing Friday night when they play the Mudcats. They will have a silent auction during the game for the ones being worn by the Jaxx. I am looking forward to getting one!

I'm not going with a plan for any one player. I do have some cash from someone to make a push for Sing's jersey. I'll just hang out and hope to get one for the opening bid ($50-$75).

No way! You can't ever tell what's going to happen at these auctions, but I'll keep a close watch on all of them. If there's one that is going for a low price I may make an effort. however, I'm not going into the auction specifically wanting to get a certain jersey.

Besides, I'm meeting another guy with a media credential at the park Friday so he can introduce me to the guys on the team.

You should take a ton of money and blow it on the third base coach's jersey and surprise the hell out of everyone.

That would be a surprise, especially since lunch with Bobby Dickerson (3rd base coach) didn't get a single big in the JDRF auction!

You know, I wonder if buying a jersey through the silent auction will let you meet the player after the game. I loved the Boy Scout jersey auction in that once you bought the jersey you could go and meet the player to receive the jersey and get it signed. I enjoyed getting to visit with Murton and Shipman!

This is probably completely irrelevant, but at the 45 jersey silent auction the Chiefs did, the winners went down to meet the players and get the signed jerseys from them. If these jerseys are to be signed, I'd guess it would probably be done the same way.

If the jerseys are sold by the 7th inning it would definitely make it better on the players as well as the people that bought a jersey.
