Marmol started two games for the Diamond Jaxx, going 1-0 with a 0.64 ERA. On July 18th, Marmol made a start against the Tennessee Smokies at Pringles Park. Marmol was the winning pitcher as he allowed no runs on two hits with two walks and twelve strikeouts. On July 23rd, Marmol got a no decision in Montgomery. He threw seven innings against the Montgomery Biscuits, allowing a run on four hits with three walks and seven strikeouts.
