It's nothing but speculation from the NY Post, not really anything to get discouraged about. They don't have any information about what teams are talking to each other about what players.

It's simply their guess as to "who might want him."

I wouldn't read too much into these. Everybody will speculate for the next 7 days, hoping they are the ones that guess right.

 

My local paper carried a Dallas writer who covered the looming trade deadline and listed buyers, sellers, and in between teams. He said the Cubs are always buyers and that Adam Dunn would be their number one target.
