Wow! What a weekend. I'm sitting in the lobby of my hotel where I found a wireless connection. It's 12:30 at night, and I've been drinking beer and massive amounts of water all day. 2 fantastic games in a row, and the Cards and Cub fans have been having a great time. I brought 11 Cub fans from Chicago with me and we've been having the time of our lives.

The best rivalry in baseball lives on. Chat with you all more tomorrow when I get back in town.

Heh heh. I bet it was tiring, sitting in Busch, with 120 degree temps in there. That's harsh man. But it sounds like ya'll are having a good time. Drive safely back to Chicago.

It's been brutal here and thank goodness it's a night game tonight..... which means it should only be 100 at game time. The high today is supposed to be 102 with the heat index around 115. But that's summer in St. Louis. Many empty seats (righfully so) in the sun seats today. I watched some highlights of the game last night and it seemed Pujols was upset about the "miscommunication" between he and LaRussa regarding Pujols' shoulder. I thought LaRussa was just giving him the hot afternoon off. Pujols was extremely short with the media yesterday.

I really wish I could have met you and Gracie's Girl, Dal, Snood and the rest of the board members this weekend. I was the social planner for my whole group, and they kept me pretty busy to say the least.

Great atmosphere around town. All the Cub fans I saw represented themselves and thier team well. Let's hope the series in 2 weeks is as fun as this one has been.

What a game tonight!! It was not near as hot as the previous 2 games, thus the beer drinking was a little more outta hand tonight. After the game, I think it was the quietest trip on the metro Ive ever been on!! :)
