No "Other". No "Neither". No "The thought of either choice made me stroke out so I can't vote." Pick one, and own your selection.

I said Griffey. We tried to Alou experiment already. It was fun for a while, but some of his antics got old. And his lack of defense left a bad taste in my mouth. Griffey, if he's healthy, can still be a very productive player.

That .410 OBP is kinda hott.

Plus, Griffeys contract doesnt make me very eager to get him.

I chose alou.

We'd have Alou for one season. We'd have Griffey until 2084 or something like that.

Its sad, that made me laugh.

Alou. Hands down (and washed).

Griffey's contract gives albatrosses a bad name. Even the Yankees, desperate for CF help, didn't bite at Junior.

As irritating as Alou could be, I have a part of me that feels that Moises really loved playing here, and really, really wanted to win here. It's hard for me to explain, since I wasn't a huge fan of him...Throw in the fact that his contract isn't awful, and there's really not much debate.

They're both geezers. Griffey is 35. He is a superstar on decline. Look at Sammy So-So. A geezer who sucks, a massive contract. Alou is underrated. Last year, when Ramirez and Lee weren't producing, he helped carry the team. I even wrote to Tribune and said that So-So should be put on the DL so Jason Dubuis can take his place on the post-season roster, and they agreed.

I voted for Alou and think he might be the insurance the Cardinals might be looking for in the outfield.

Ooohh... The triangle defense game. I like that.

His contract isn't that bad. Hendry even said he'd have picked up the 2005 option if not for So-So's contract. What I don't get is that Sportmart was still selling Sosa and Alou merchandise in January.
