Who has the ugliest uniforms?

it pains me to admit that the cardinals uniforms are really awesome.

in case you can't notice the trend. simpler and cleaner = better

I really dislike the Reds and Mets unis right now, the biggest reason being those stupid two tone hats with the colored bills. Why the Reds went away from the classic bright red hats with the white c on them is beyond me. Everyone has this obsession with adding black to their uni's, and I just don't get it. Their current hats stink. The Mets blue hats were good too. The current black ones are really ugly. They occasionally break out all white uni's with the blue hats every now and then, and these are by far their best unis.

 

Also, I'll agree with everyone on the Padres road uni's. Off yellow? That reminds me of things i'd rather not have on my uniform.

I've disliked the Cubs' road hats since they went to the two tone red/blue a couple of years ago. It looks like a party hat.

Eh, it's called Cubbie Blue for a reason. So I believe they should have at least one uni that is Cubbie Blue. Just my opinion though. I love the pinstripes. And I really love that they took the names off the home jerseys this year. Much more classic look to them.

One more vote for the Padres travel uni's. Absolutely horrible.

 

I really like their camouflage uniforms they where once a year in honor of the military. San Diego has a huge military population and deserves praise for honoring them once a year.

The Mets and Reds - and Royals, too - storied teams with instantly recognizable uniform designs who totally raped said designs.

 

That's worse to me than the crap put out there by Tampa, Toronto, etc. - those teams never had decent uniforms to begin with.

Any uniform worn in the 70s and specifically 80s are awesome. My favorites are the cubs 82-89 road uni's, all baby blue uni's, and the astros "rainbow" uni's.

 

My least favorite would be the recent Padres uni's --- terrible use of whatever color they call it. .. . sand? tan? boody??

I agree. Before I entered the thread, I knew someone would mention the astros uniforms, I love those striped jerseys. I also love the orange hat with the star. I like pretty much all of the retro jerseys. I hate the Dbacks uniforms and pretty much any teams with black uniforms.
