Horrible day for Holla at the plate. Hopefully we'll see one of Dusty's patented double switches to bring in Murton to bat in the pitcher's spot in the 9th.

Is anyone up in the pen? Looks like MadDog is going out for the 8th.

Mitre was getting ready.

Was there a reason Nefi and Hollandsworth needed to bat there? Up 8 in the 8th inning you would think it might be a nice time to get Murton and Cedeno some at bats.

No. It'll be Macias taking over for ARam.

With Holly making tha last out of the 8th, Baker wants 1 more inning from Maddux. If TOdd got on, we'd see a pinch hitter, provided someone was up in the pen.

But that would only be logical!

Go Greg!

This start is doing wonders for his inflated ERA. Lets hope he can keep them scoreless. Of course, Maddog has a clause in his contract about the number of innings pitched. He's not stupid. LOL< on a day when he's obviously feeling it (and the opposition has been demoralized) why not try and rack up the innings??? Smart guy.

CUBS are 12-1 when they score 8 or more runs..... 30-43 when they don't.

Go CUBS !!

That one loss was an 11-9 defeat by the Reds, right?
