Is Greenberg lefthanded or righthanded? Dusty may not want to lose Jose's versatility off the bench.

Greenberg is LH.

Without Lee, this should be the lineup for tomorrow:

Hairston

Greenberg

Walker

Ramirez

Burnitz

Barrett

Murton

Cedeno

Expected lineup:

Hairston

Perez

Walker

Ramirez

Burnitz

Hollandsworth

Barrett

Macias

Dusty said Murton will get another start this series (I'd assume tomorrow) and that Greenberg will not be in the starting lineup at all this weekend.

I really wish Dusty would stop the whole righty/lefty match up game. Murton must play everyday. Cedeno must play everyday. They can't learn to hit good major league pitching by only facing certain kinds of pitchers, etc. I like Holly a lot, but the future is now.

See Dubois, Jason for further proof.

Actually, since we face another lefty tomorrow, I'm betting Hollandsworth plays 1st, and Murton stays in left.

He doesn't need to play EVERY day. If he's playing 2 out of 3 games like this, that's perfectly fine.

The season still isn't over and Hollandsworth has been possibly our best hitter for a while now and has been hot since June. He still deserves some playing time.

Cedeno isn't exactly crushing the ball either. I would be pleased if he was getting 4 starts per week, he doesn't need to be out there everyday.

These guys can learn by not playing everyday when they come up. Obviously it doesn't do them any good if they're only getting 6 AB's a week, but they aren't going to be damaged by not playing every single game.

What would be wrong with using the same lineup as last (except Lee at 1st and Walker at 2nd.) night for a few games? God forbid we let anyone geta ny momentum.

I agree. I'd really like to see Dusty keep the lineup the same for at least a week to see what happens.

The last time we did that we won 7 straight, I believe.
