I was thinking about making the drive to Atlanta for the game. Maybe I'll be able to get there Thursday. As expected, plenty of great seats available.

The game is on ESPN also.

Hopefully Stoney?

Stoney isnt doing Baltimore/Yankees or Mets/Nats games (both on ESPN) so he'll likely do the Cubs. This game is also on TBS, so you could also catch Chip Carey.

EDIT: Unless you have stupid blackout restrictions :x

Corey benched again. Ouch.

Also, being rid of Chip is one of the best things of this season, imo.

Len was saying all game yesterday that Corey would be given a couple of days off.

And if ya miss Chip, you can always tune into TBS. :P

Why is Corey being benched a bad thing?

It was more in reference to the fact that he's grabbing pine than my sadness at that fact. I do believe he would have been fine if Baker had dropped him to the 7 or 8 hole and kept him there until he showed improvement, but I digress.

I agree, I would be fine if Corey was in the line-up & batting 7th or 8th. Any higher than that, I would be very dissapointed.

rain is moving into the Atlanta area...

Yeah, it's mostly scattered, so it could go on and off.

Hopefully we can get it in before it rains good.

I've liked Davies so far this season. He's not going to blow anyone away with his stuff, but he's gritty and gets the job done pretty well.

The fact that the Braves kept him over both Capellan and Meyer speaks very well of him, imo.
