Woof, absolutely awful outing from Neely, who was looking about ready.

On the bright side Pearson appears to be coming out of his funk.  And he got the save opp tonight which is often a tacit tip of the hand for "next man up" from the org.

Tyler Schlaffer worked 7 innings or more for the third time in his last four.

Even in the midst of this heater the K/BB numbers are more solid than spectacular, but feels like he's making the case for a little extra attention.

Cristian Hernández out for his third game, dating back to last Sunday.

Does anyone know what happened to him? I have been searching and found nothing, but I suck at stuff like that.

It's not just you, injuries for minor leaguers are really hard to track down.  If it's something that plainly happened on the field we obviously know, but otherwise unless you're a team's top one or two prospects the updates are slow to come in.

Since he didn't get put on the IL, best guess should be something minor and nagging, but even that's not a guarantee.
