Jonathon Long HR (#5 with Tennessee)

By the end of the night we're going to be at over 150 PAs of Jonathan long OPSing over 1.000 and having more walks than strikeouts.  I'm a bit worried about the power if he has to stick at 1B but man I want more details on this guy because these numbers are insane.

Yep. Can he actually play a decent 3B or LF? He becomes much more interesting if that's the case.

Connor Noland did not have a good time tonight

I didn't realize they had a slaughter-rule. Him and Sanders allowed nearly 2 runs for every out they recorded 18:10 lmfao

It wasn't a slaughter rule - Mother Nature just took pity on Iowa. Memphis was actually threatening in the 6th when the rain began.

I’m rooting for Long to finish in Iowa, they have a week of games after the Smokies finish unless playoffs. He seems like someone teams will ask for in trades this offseason, this rise is invaluable

I'm guessing he'll have many more games to play this fall making an extra week in Iowa irrelevant.

Angel Cepeda blasted a two-run HR onto the LF Berm and drilled an RBI single, and Derik Alcantara collected three singles, scored a run, and knocked-in another for the Cubs.

Luis A. Reyes has had a good run recently in the Bridge League. This is his second straight 2 inning scoreless outing with 4 strikeouts and no walks (Arizona Phil says he's sitting 97-98 with a good slider):

Quote

2. Luis A. Reyes: 2.0 IP, 0 H, 1 R (0 ER), 0 BB, 4 K, 1 HBP, 1/1 GO/AO, 32 pitches (19 strikes)

Overall in all the Bridge games - 10.2 IP, 2 ER, 5 BB, 14 K
