With the catching situation as bleak as it is right now, would it be worth it to give him a shot?  He's consistently been just under league average in CS% and while the OPS isn't pretty, it's better than either of the current catchers and he's pretty consistently hit .230ish when he's gotten regular playing time.  I don't know, I'm just tired of the same trash on the field every day, maybe new trash will be more interesting.
