How awful do you think Hendricks will be at some point in his life? I mean if that is what you are using as a guide to whose jersey you would want from the 16’ team, wouldn’t he be the least likely to become an awful person?

Hendricks is the only player on the current roster you could justify dropping $ on. He started and likely will end his career with the Cubs and was a blue chip rotation piece that’ll never go out of style.
