A southern Illinois Cub fan - with plenty of exposure to the Cardinals. Whitey Herzog passed away last night at 92 years. He was certainly an innovative manager and baseball exec who brought speed back to the game in the sixties. I wish I knew his evaluation of PCA.

2 managers who were way ahead of their time when it came to OBP.  Not sure if it was by choice or accident.
