I was playing around in Fangraphs this morning and did a search for anyone at AA, age 20 or below and found a list of 8 guys with enough AB to qualify. So a pretty short list. I then ranked them by wRC+:

 

After this exercise, I found myself asking how on earth any of the ranking services don't have Caissie as a top 100 guy.

Nobody is going to give him enough credit because his season long K rate is an ugly 32.1%.  I'm sure he'll be on a lot of "just missed" lists with the blurb about his K rate dropping to 25% after they got rid of the pre-tacked balls.

Luis Devers is having himself a terrific start to August.

Brad (@ballskwok on Twitter) has been doing this exact thing on Twitter all season and it’s been wild to see how much better than Lawler and Domínguez he’s been all season, while those two are easily top 100 guys,
